the other day i went on a mini adventure with justin and neil. we ventured through the trails of waterloo park, mostly around laurel creek while on our way to an ice cream potluck party. i took way more photos than i had expected to... and i came up with this! i think this is one of my best so far. please let me know what you think!

babes of the ES semi-formal

last weekend we had the annual ES semi-formal. This year it was held at FED hall on campus. The DJ was pretty good, and everybody seemed to have a great time!

'round the fire

a little while back, a bunch of us had a campfire at justin, chloe, alex and natalie's house. while some people took this as an opportunity to discuss politics and the idea of social competition, others chose to sit back and enjoyed the warmth of the flames... and roast marshmallows.

envisioning sustainability

so, here is what you've been waiting for!! ... or what i've been waiting for at least :P

these photos represent the fruits of much labour. they aren't of the highest quality, but they are special all the same. they are from the public forum that Clearing a Path held last tuesday - Envision Sustainability at UW. we had the new dean of ES introduce the night, then awesome jean andrey gave a keynote address on the topic of sustainability. we managed to pack the ES couryard with faculty, staff, students, and even a few people from the community! about 50 in all.

the bottom picture is of darcy higgins, giving a warm welcome to all who attended and going over the night's agenda. the top is of amber and darcy parks giving a presentation on campus sustainability offices and our group's plans to get one for UW.

it was an awesome night, and i am really proud of the whole thing! if you want to learn more about it, contact clearing_a_path @ hotmail.com or go to http://imprint.uwaterloo.ca/story.php?f=2&t=8294&i=&v=f&story=8294
